After one successful performance, he was invited to dance in the Sakta (Brooch) State dance ensemble.

In parallel, studied at the Rīga Cultural Workers’ Technical School (1983–1986), qualifying in club and dance-group management. Managed the Rāzna club in Rēzekne District.
