Dances

Between 1948 and 2023, almost 450 different dances have been performed at All-Latvia song and dance celebrations – folk dances, folk dance arrangements, original choreography and more than 60 dances of other nations. This list compiles dances performed at All-Latvia song and dance celebrations, including those in grand dance performances, concerts by senior choirs and dance groups, and combined choir concerts. The list does not include the dances that were staged in the concerts of the 16th All-Latvia Song Festival (1973) and the 17th All-Latvia Song Festival (1977), because only selected folk-dance ensembles participated in these festivals and not all Latvian folk-dance groups were represented. In 1975, between the 16th and 17th Song Celebrations, the 7th Dance Festival was held with the participation of Latvian folk dance groups and ensembles, consequently this list includes dances from the 7th Dance Festival repertoire.
